Teresa Collins is simply amazing!!! I had so much fun talking with her and being in her booth. It was really great meeting her. I love her new Family Stories and Memorabilia collections. Can't wait to work with them on some layouts!

CHA Summer Day 1 - Chic Tags

Hi everyone, were still on CHA Day 1 and today is the amazing Chic Tags booth with the amazing and super sweet owner and designer Veronica!!! I loved meeting Veronica. She's so nice and is one of my favorite people that I got to meet at CHA!

CHA Summer Day 1 - American Crafts

Hey, Im back from Summer CHA. I had so much fun, it was a blast!! It was such a pleasure to meet so many of the designers and so many nice people. First up I will be showing photos from Day 1 at the American Crafts booth's.

Maggie Holmes and I. Loved meeting her as well and love her style and her twist that she puts on her Crate Paper collections. The new Flea Market collection looks great!!

Amy Tangerine and I. Im a huge fan of all of her collections. I love how she used so many colors in her new Cut & Paste collection but also put a small vintage touch on it.

Becky Higgins and I. I really like the style that Project Life is scrapped and can't wait to start my own Project Life album at the beginning of next year!

Im so excited for all the CHA sneak peeks and releases and I'm so lucky and happy to say that I will be going to the Craft & Hobby Association show this July in Las Vegas! I absolutely can not wait! It's going to be a blast. Right now I am loving these new collections from Glitz Designs. They wow'd me again with new fabulous products and designs. Im especially loving the Dapper Dan collection. The navy blue, green, white, and wood grain is such a great combo.

What I Created in a Photoshop Class

I recently took a small photo shop class and here are some of things I created. For my first time with this software I think I did pretty well. But it definitely takes a lot of practice to get used to all the tools and buttons.

In the class we made pop art. Which is where you take the same photo 4 times and use bright colors to change each image. In the end you have 4 different designed photo's put together as one for a really cool piece of art. I really like how mine turned out.

In this picture I made all of the uncut fruits black and white and left the split open fruits the same way they were in its original photo. That way they can really stand out.

Here I merged to images together and blended the cat over the dog. The words cat and dog are both filled in with the corresponding animals fur. Which I thought was a pretty cool trick.

  We were also told to take any pair of opposites or 2 things that went together. I chose fire and ice. I did the same thing as I did with the dog and cat photo. I blended the ice cubes with flames and cut the words out of the corresponding object.

I love enamel dots (who doesn't). They are just the perfect little element to add to any project or to use as a finishing touch to a scrapbook page. It was such a great idea of Freckled Fawn to make ombre ones. And now we have items from the new Travel Girl collection by October afternoon.
